Enumclaw is a year-round recreation destination area...
In the spring, lakes and streams provide the angler with the opportunity to
catch feisty trout. Mountain biking, camping, hiking, horseback riding, back
packing and boating await the outdoor enthusiast. May brings the Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race, a bicycle race that brings professional
and amateur racers from all over the country to Enumclaw.

The summer months are filled with fun activities for all to participate in. In
July, Enumclaw hosts an Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, Enumclaw's King County Fair - a three-day-old fashioned county fair with something
for everyone. The Scottish Highland Games is
a three-day Scottish Festival the last weekend in July that provides the old Highland Games,with

wonderful bagpipe music and Scottish food and drink. Come to the
gathering of clans and visit with the people from all over the world who come
to this celebration. Downtown Enumclaw comes alive at the annual Street Fair on July 24th and 25th.

September and the remainder of the fall season usher in a blazingly colorful
autumn in the surrounding neighborhood and high country. Participating downtown
businesses open their doors to ghosts and goblins of all ages in the annual Trick or Treating event. In December, Enumclaw is host to its annual Christmas Parade and tree-lighting ceremony. For winter fun, come and
enjoy the miles of snowmobile, downhill and cross-country areas that await you.
Take advantage of the ski facilities at Crystal
Mountain Ski Area, including sunsets dinners in the summer. Try your skill at catching the winter run of
steelhead trout to be
found in nearby White, Green, Carbon and Puyallup Rivers.

Enumclaw boast six school district park playgrounds, the Aquatics Center and indoor sports arena, and an 18-hole golf course. The City of Enumclaw Parks & Recreation Department operates sixteen beautiful City parks,
which have picnic and play areas for youth and adults, including basketball,
softball and soccer areas, and playground apparatuses for children. The city also
operates the new Expo Center. Enumclaw also boasts of its state of the art
baseball complex, Boise Creek Sixplex with six playing fields for our Little League, school teams and
host tournament play from May through September.
