Q: What time does the parade start?  

A: The parade starts promptly at 6 PM sharp. Arrive early to secure a great viewing spot along the route!  


Q: When do the streets close for the parade?  

A: Streets marked with an arrow will begin closing at 9 AM for parade staging. Please plan your day accordingly.  

Cole Street will be closed from Battersby to Monroe.

Railroad Street will be closed from Battersby to Monroe.

Washington will be closed from Cole to Garrett.

First Street will be closed from Washington to Griffin.


Q: What time does parade staging begin?  

A: Parade staging starts at 4 PM. Please do not line up prior to 4 PM to ensure a smooth process for all participants.  


Q: When will participants receive staging information?  

A: Participants will receive detailed staging information by Tuesday at 1 PM prior to the event.  


Q: Where is the parade route?  

A: The parade runs the length of Cole Street, from Washington Ave to Monroe Ave.  

Q: Where can I find the MCs and DJ during the parade?  

A: The MCs and DJ will be located at the stage across from Casting Iron. It’s a great spot to enjoy music and commentary throughout the parade!  


Q: What time should parade participants be in their spots?  

A: Parade participants must be in their designated spots along the staging area no later than 5:30 PM. The parade begins at 6 PM sharp.  


Q: Will there be any announcements or entertainment before the parade starts?  

A: Yes, enjoy festive music and announcements from the stage as we gear up for the parade!  


Q: How can I get the best viewing spot for the parade?  

A: Arrive early to claim a good spot along the parade route. The area near the stage between Initial and Stevenson is especially popular.  

Q: Are there any special instructions for parade participants?  

A: Please follow the staging information provided and ensure you’re in your designated spot by 5:30 PM. Do not line up prior to 4 PM to avoid disruptions.  And look for volunteers with HI-VIS vests for help!

Q: How can I support the parade volunteers?  

A: Please be kind and patient with our hardworking parade volunteers along the route. Your cooperation helps make this cherished event a success!  

Q: What should I wear to the parade?  

A: Bundle up and bring your holiday spirit! Festive attire like Santa hats, cozy sweaters, or anything red and green is always welcome. Don’t forget warm layers and gloves!
